Do the Right Thing: Following Your Inner Voice

Decisions. We make them every day. Some are more important than others. Some are harder to make than others. Some have more weight around them than others. The question is: are you making the right decisions?

The word "decide" means to "murder the alternative". Simply put, you are choosing one option over another. When we make a choice we now have a path to follow and consequences of that choice. Depending on the choice, the consequences could be positive or they could be negative.

Once you have made your choice, are you celebrating that choice or are you thinking of reasons to justify your choice? If you are thinking of reasons to justify you choice, then you know inside that you made the wrong choice. The best way to correct this is to simply admit your mistake and then correct your choice as best as you can. There may be some undesired consequences for correcting this mistake, such as bad feelings or loss of money. However, it is much better to experience this loss than continue down the path of wrong choice.

So, how do you make the correct choice to begin with?

That is easier to describe than implement.

Inside, you know Your Purpose. Your know your reason for being here (if you don't we can help you with this and this would be the first place to start. You must know Your Purpose). As you examine your choices, how well do these line up with Your Purpose and Your Vision? The choice that lines up best with Your Purpose and Your Vision is the correct choice. On the inside of you, there is a voice. This voice knows the correct choice. This voice is your conscious or your True Self. I personally like to refer to the voice as Holy Spirit. This voice is your guide. When you listen to this voice, you will make the correct decisions. Your decisions will be in line with Your Purpose and will help lead you to Your Destiny.

If you choose to ignore this voice, you risk pain, embarrassment, loss, unfulfilment, delay and any number of other possibilities. Following this voice leads to joy, promotion, fulfilment, excitement and many other great adventures.

The magnificence that you are depends on your ability to follow this voice. Too many people have lived and died without listening to this voice and making the right choices so that their Purpose could be fulfilled. You could be the absolute best that has ever been in your chosen field. However, if you do not make the right choices you will spend your life as a wandering generality rather than a meaningful specific. You are here for a specific Purpose and that Purpose requires listening to your inner voice and making right choices.
